Own Your Spot is the youth programme of the municipality of Leeuwarden, giving young people the space to come up with, shape and run their own places and activities (Spots).
What is Own Your Spot?
Young people get the space to create their own places, activities and networks that fit their world.
Own Your Spot for young people
Use a square for basketball tournaments? Or organise a gaming event instead? Every Spot is different. Young people decide what happens and what they need.
Own Your Spot for mentors
Do you work with young people at a youth organisation, sports club, school or another place where young people come together? Help out as a mentor and support young people in making their ideas happen.
What is the youth platform?
The youth platform is basically the first Spot. Young people can share what matters to them and help shape policy.
